Today City have completed the signing of the talented young defender Jay Benn on a permanent deal from Halifax Town. He made 12 appearances last season for Halifax Town but he has a big future ahead of him and he has been identified to join City in a similar way to the likes of Charley Kendall and Ben House.
He said: “I’m really pleased to join this massive club and it’s a great step up for me. The club is heading in the right direction and that’s what I want to do as a player too. It looks like a great place to be involved and I’m looking forward to being part of the project.”
