Lincoln City will face Morecambe in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup on the first weekend of November.
The Imps have faced Morecambe regularly in recent years and are unbeaten against the Shrimps at Sincil Bank since 2010. The last time City hosted Morecambe was in the EFL Trophy, which resulted in a win on penalties for Mark Kennedy’s side.
Morecambe are unbeaten in five games across all competitions and currently sit 12th in League Two, while City are on a poor run, which included a defeat on Saturday to Burton Albion, dropping Kennedy’s men down to 16th in League One.
Former City defender Max Melbourne plays for Morecambe, although his recent minutes in league action have been limited. The defender is highly likely to feature when he returns to Sincil Bank next month.
