The big news today is that both of our current loanees, that were away at Drogheda United, have been recalled back to City.
We have finally got the confirmation that we have been expecting with Sam Long and Sean Roughan being recalled back to Lincoln City ahead of pre-season. They were both popular with the Irish club with them both making fifteen appearances.
Both players deserve a spot in our first team next season. Sam Long could be battling it out with Jordan Wright for the number one spot while Sean Roughan will be a useful asset at both centre-half (especially in a back three) and left-back.
The Drogheda loan has been really important for both players, with them gaining excellent reviews from fans and pundits in Ireland. Sam Long was also nominated for the league Player of the Month in May, while Sean Roughan picked up MOTM awards.
