City have completed the signing of highly rated young Irish attacker, Danny Mandroiu from Irish side, Shamrock Rovers. Mandroiu has been capped at U16, U19 and U19 youth level and is in contention for a senior call up to the Irish National Team. He got a callup to the national team for fixtures against Andorra and Hungary, however he remained an unused substitute in both.

Mandroiu spent the majority of his youth career with Brighton and Hove Albion, but he was later released and moved to Bohemians, where is 14 goals in 37 games impressed the scouts of arch-rivals, Shamrock Rovers and he went there for a fee of around $20,000 and his impressive goal scoring record earned the interest of Celtic but no approaches were made.

He joins the Imps in a highly anticipated move, and he will join up with the squad after our pre-season tour in Hungary.
