City Agree Deal for St Mirren Star
City have agreed a deal for highly sought after St Mirren midfielder Ethan Erhahon.
Football Insider has reported that City have agreed a deal with St Mirren of £300,000, with the midfielders contract set to expire in the summer of 2023. Erhahon, 21, is a St Mirren youth academy graduate. He’s made well over 100 first-team appearances, the vast majority of which have come in the Scottish Premier League. Erhahon drew interest from a number of Championship clubs last summer, but it appears that League One side Lincoln City are set to sign him before his contract expires this summer.
Reports earlier this week said that City Director of Football Jez George was present at Ethan’s most recent Scottish Premiership game and had watched him on a number of occasions. Mark Kennedy and City will be looking to add some energy into midfield but with a player that fits the clubs model and style. Ethan looks to be just that with the club believed to be following the youngster for some time.

Oxford and Forest Green were also interested, with the latter having a bid accepted but the player looks to be set on the Lincoln City move.
I don’t claim to know about players that I haven’t watched but I have seen Ethan three or four times this season and he is a player that has impressed me. He is good on and off the ball, and is everything you would want in a midfielder. He was due to feature in an article of mine during the summer, which was ‘5 Ambitious Signings City could Make’ but that never got published due to the signing of Tashan Oakley-Boothe on the same day I wrote it. There was a reason he had a host of Championship clubs after him in the summer and he is a massive pick-up for us.
