AllLincoln Awards are back this season but they will be slightly different to what you have seen before.

I’m aware that there is still six games to go for City, starting with Port Vale on Saturday at home, but I thought it would be a good time to introduce you to the new revamped system for the AllLincoln awards this season that you’ll be seeing on the site following the final game of the season against Shrewsbury.

22/23 Award Categories:

AllLincoln Player of the Season

AllLincoln Young Player of the Season

AllLincoln Signing of the Season

AllLincoln Goal of the Season

AllLincoln Individual Performance of the Season

AllLincoln Player of the Season Like the previous three seasons it has been running, the AllLincoln Player of the Season remains the same. It is the player that I personally believe has been our most consistent and best player this season.

AllLincoln Young Player of the Season – Another award that is retained from last season is the AllLincoln Young Player of the Season. The players that are eligible for this award are those under twenty-one years of age or below (and have played and have played ten games or on course to). The players eligible are, Carl Rushworth, Harry Boyes, Ethan Erhahon, Sean Roughan and Luke Plange.

AllLincoln Signing of the Season – This is another one I’ve been running for quite a while on the site and on social media before I started on here. It’s simple enough, it’s out of all the players that were signed either in the summer window or the winter window, and it’s usually the players that were signed in the summer window that win this one. The players eligible are, Carl Rushworth, Harry Boyes, Paudie O’Connor, Tashan Oakley-Boothe, Ethan Erhahon, Matty Virtue, Danny Mandroiu, Dylan Duffy, Mide Shodipo and Luke Plange

AllLincoln Goal of the Season – Now this has to be my personal favourite award and it has been voted for on Instagram for the past two seasons that I’ve done it. This season will be slightly different though, there will be a poll on the site for readers to vote on. Obviously due to copyright laws etc, I won’t be able to upload the goal on the site, but I will give a link to the match highlights if you want to take another look at one of the goals in the vote. Right now there aren’t any nominees because we just seem to keep scoring goal of the season contenders at the moment, so the poll will go live in the evening of Sunday 7th May following Lincoln City vs Shrewsbury.

NEW: AllLincoln Individual Performance of the Season – This is our only new award this season and it replaces the award we had last year that went to the player with the most AllLincoln MOTM’s. However I stopped doing the MOTM this season, so now there is an award for individual performance of the season. Once again as the season isn’t over, there is no nominees as such but if you have one in mind, you can comment underneath this article or contact me on twitter ( @alllincoln1 or @joebriley__ ) and also on Instagram ( @all.lincoln ).

I will put something out on the site when the goal of the season and individual performance of the season award nominees are ready and you will be able to vote for them. The three main awards, player of the season, young player of the season and signing of the season, will be decided by me as they have been in previous seasons.

Thank you for the support this season, and hopefully we can end the campaign strong.
