Michael Skubala and Reeco Hackett of Lincoln City have both been nominated for official EFL League One awards following an impressive February.

The Imps won five out of their six games during the month, extending their unbeaten run to nine games. The month started with a victory over Burton, but the highlight was the final game where Lincoln City defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-0.

Following this impressive run, head coach Skubala has been nominated for the February EFL League One Manager of the Month award. He will go up against Neil Collins (Barnsley), John Mousinho (Portsmouth), and Richie Wellens (Leyton Orient).

Since his return from injury in January, Hackett has been a crucial player for Skubala’s side. In February, the winger scored in victories against Burton, Port Vale, and Shrewsbury, and in a draw away at Charlton Athletic. Hackett’s key role throughout February has seen him nominated for the EFL Player of the Month award.

Hackett is up against Paddy Lane (Portsmouth), Marc Leonard (Northampton), and Adam Phillips (Barnsley).

The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday, March 8th.
